Mango Madness: Ultimate Low Sugar Diabetic Snacks!

Low Sugar Snack Ingredients:

2 cups of fresh mango, ripe with yellow skin and red mottling (about 2 large mangoes)
1/3 cup Mauna Lai Mango Mango juice drink
2/3 cup skim milk
2/3 cup SPLENDA
1 tsp. Vanilla extract, pure
1 cup ice

How To Make The Manco Madness Snacks with Low Sugar Content

  • Peel mangos.
  • Carefully slice away from the flat seed with a sharp knife, cut into cubes.
  • Freeze mangos for 20 minutes or until frozen.
  • Add all ingredients to blender.
  • Blender will be full.
  • Mix on low speed for 1-15 seconds.
  • Remove lid, stir with wooden spoon.
  • Mix on medium speed for 15-20 seconds, remove lid and stir again.
  • Mix on high speed for 20-25 seconds, or until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses. Serve immediately.

Low Sugar Note: The flat mango seed traverses its length. Mixing times will vary depending on frozen state of fruit. Servings can slightly vary depending on size of fruit.

Another low sugar fun summer time snack is ice popsicle. Any liquid can be transformed into a low sugar ice pop: fruit juice, soda, milk, lemonade even coffee and tea. Freeze it plain or jazz it up with pureed fruit, but be sure to use ripe fruit. It's so much sweeter and more flavorful, you may not even need to add extra sugar.
